Half-baked intro post

Here's the idea:

1. Becoming a more effective science communicator would be a pretty good thing for my career
2. I will need to read a lot of scientific articles and stuff in the near future
3. I'd rather not make these posts rebloggable, hence why I'm not going with Tumblr for this
4. Also, I figure that if I read articles and write mini summaries here, it'll make writing my honour's thesis a lot easier
5. That's... pretty much it.

Also, I'd like to point out that this interface is a lot nicer than the Blogger of three years ago. Just saying. Good job on that.
